Respiratory Conditions

Children’s lungs, especially an infant’s, are susceptible to mild lung conditions. Sometimes these conditions can escalate if untreated. In some cases, children who suffer from respiratory diseases, like asthma, may have a respiratory reaction at the least convenient time. A breathing issue can be very scary for both child and parent. Here are some signs to look for and ways you can help your child feel better.

Breathing issues are a common occurrence in young kids. They can come down with about 12 infections every year, with each lasting a week or two. It can be tough to tell what condition your child has. But don’t worry, at Just 4 Kids, we are able to treat respiratory conditions and help your child return to normal breathing.

Stomachache, Vomiting, Diarrhea

An upset stomach, along with vomiting, diarrhea and general lethargy can put a damper on any family activity. When your children are experiencing any of these terrible tummy troubles, we can help. Stomach Ache related symptoms can be the result of a wide range of conditions. From infants whose digestive system is still getting a jump start in life to the poor eating habits of older children, gastric distress can cause severe pain and some can be life-threatening.

Tummy trouble is never fun and especially with little ones. If your child is experiencing nausea, stomachache, vomiting or diarrhea – give us a call, come down to see us or reserve your place in line.

Infections

While ear infections are a common type of infection in young children, there are many varieties of infection that can cause children of all ages to get sick or experience discomfort. Children are commonly exposed to bacteria and viruses which can lead to infections on the skin, in the eye, lungs, stomach, the urinary tract and throughout the body. Fungal infections can also lead to conditions like diaper rash, ringworm, jock itch, athlete’s foot or vaginal yeast infections in girls.

No matter what the age of your child, if you suspect that their immune system is fighting some sort of infection, come down to see us at Just 4 Kids Urgent Care.
